About

Hey, I'm Tom. I'm working towards being a theatrical theorist. I write a bit, think a bit, sing a lot when I'm high. Hopefully you'll like something on here...
The police were heavy handed but no different from dealing with the weekend drunks who just won’t do as they are told and then proceed to resist arrest. Otherwise they were tolerant. Any support I did have for the protest is evaporating very fast with the new breed of protestor who turned up very quickly to claim some action with the cops. The threat to storm Flinders St station and disrupt ordinary hard working Aussies (not bank CEOs) going to the races is just disgusting and proves beyond doubt that this mob represents no where near 10% let alone 99.

Thanks. Don’t stress about the earnest protesters who aren’t politically affiliated. Don’t stress about the people who, while offering no violent resistance, were punched and kicked in the face by riot police, copped capsicum spray in the face from riot police, were shoved around the city and ordered to ‘MOVE’ by RIOT POLICE, the disabled people they pushed over, and other complete and deliberate non-violence that was met with police brutality. You wanna have a discussion about this? I suggest speaking to one of the occupiers before throwing your half-baked opinion around.
